A great week in the Waves of Cornwall

Lunch stop at Lizard Point

Five Swedes and Therese came to Cornwall for a week in the waves at the start of May. We paddled to Lizard point from Kennack, explored the caves and the cliffs with rescue demonstrations.

A day in small surf saw lots of learning, low braces and stern rudders working well. The spectacular Mullion Cove to Kynance with a big swell helped to improve these skills and handling in rougher water.  We had two days ashore in strong winds and visited St. Ives and Lands End, cream teas and fish and chips. A final day from Portreath saw some exciting rock hopping on the North Coast with bigger seas and not a single capsize. Everyone improved massively and a good time was had by all.
