Our friend and colleague Julie joined us in Sweden last week to help prepare the details for this year’s trips. It was very exciting to study the maps and to review our plans for the year’s courses and journeys. Julie will be co- leading several of our tours this year and will assess the British Canoeing 3-star assessment on the west coast in August. Unfortunately, our enthusiasm for winter kayaking was stopped on Sunday by a frozen sea at Tyrislot!
However, the drive to St Anna Archipelago was worth it for the magnificent light. No problem – we took her skating and skiing instead!
