Green paddle Pass Assessment, Ekön near Gryt

We will hold a one day assessment for the Svenska Kanot Förbundet/EPP Green Paddle Pass. This will take place from Ekön camping near Gryt, starting at 9.30 and ending at about 16.00 on 19 June.  

The assessment will take the form of a day long journey and candidates will be required to demonstrate the full range of skills described in the green paddle pass syllabus (https://www.kanot.com/Utbildning/Paddelpasset/paddelpassetniva0-5/niva2gron/Kajak/)

Candidates can use their own paddling equipment or ours,  and will be asked to demonstrate their skills in a range of situations.

From Ekön we can usually launch into sheltered water and fairly easy paddling conditions. The islands to the South are beautiful and we will explore these as we paddle and travel during the assessment. The maximum group size is 6.

At the end of the assessment there will be a one to one de-brief with each paddler and as well as a simple pass/fail outcome we will discuss the strengths of each paddler and recommend areas for you to work on further.
